This drunk driver was caught spark out when police in Oberwil, Switzerland, spotted him trying to drive home on just his wheel rims :huh: after losing his tyre in a prang.

31-year-old Martin Schmidt - who was more than three times over the drink drive limit - was arrested after police followed a shower of sparks being left my his wheel and forced him to pull over.

"His wheel had been severely damaged when he hit the road's central reservation and then bounced off a wall.

"He seems to have been too drunk to notice or care but his licence was confiscated," said one officer.
