How NOT to Haul a Propane Tank

BRADLEY COUNTY, Tenn. (WTVC-TV) - Here's a story just so you know one way you should NOT haul large propane tanks.

Recently Bradley County Fire Rescue units were dispatched to assist the sheriff's department following a traffic stop. A deputy said when he fell in behind this car he could smell propane.

Fire units discovered a small hole in the tank which had been plugged with a golf tee. The owner was very cooperative with officers and said the leak occurred while he was loading the tank. He'd had to remove a rear passenger seat so the tank could fit, at least this far, into the vehicle.

Officers said since the man was perfectly cooperative and state officers, who typically enforce load violations, weren't available, he was not charged. After shutting down the leak they did require him however, to go get a trailer to haul the tank in a safe manner.

Let me guess, every single person in whatever state you live in has an IQ over 125, right? Didn't think so. There are stupid people everywhere, not just in the south.
