Shutdown = "No Disk In Drive" error message

* Clean install of Windows 8 Release Preview.

* HP Pavilion - Intel Core i5 - 3.10GHz - 8 GB memory - nVidia GeForce GT 520 (1 GB)

Every time I shut down I get the following...

My "D" drive is my SD Card reader. So I inserted and SD card and shut down only to get the same error message except it stated "F" drive. :huh:

The only way for me to shut down right now is a hard shut down by holding in the power button.

Ideas??

For anyone else suffering from this issue, further discussion can be found here. Along with a couple of workarounds that seem to work.
