Is it fine to install the SkyDrive desktop app on Windows 8?

Yup, it works fine as Dot Matrix said. Kinda funny you need a desktop and a metro app for skydrive, but since neither talk to each other, thats how it is.

Can anyone tell how can you uninstall Flash from IE10 Dekstop. There is option to disable but i need to uninstall it.

I need it for syncing. Wasn't the Metro app, only allow you to view the files saved online, uploads and downloads and not the sync-when-changed type?

Yea, I think the metro app just adds file picker,share and search contracts.
