These students look like their graduation ceremony went with a bang - when a huge blaze broke out at their college as they collected their degrees.

The students - from Dalian, Liaoning province, northern China - had to flee when the fire broke out in a storage warehouse beside their dormitory during the event.

Graduation snaps taken on the day show the smiling students grinning as what looks like their college goes up in smoke behind them.

Angry college officials later upload pictures onto the college website showing students tackling the blaze with super-soakers.

"They show the true spirit of the college. Our students shouldn't be celebrating destruction," explained one.

I can understand college officials being upset. The grinning students should have been out there fighting the blaze as well.

Some wiseacre would have tossed a beer on the blaze and then the fight of the century would have broken out, with the blaze all but forgotten. Probably best they didn't. :D
