So, how do I tell the store WHERE I want my apps installed? IF I buy this thing when it's released, there's no way I'm going to let MS dictate to me where apps get installed... I'll be putting it on to an SSD drive and I don't want ANYthing on that sucker except the OS itself, and some larger apps that -I- choose to put on it.

Your talking about Windows 8? Can't do it as of now. Good point though. I'm sure there will be metro apps in the future that are 2Gigs+. It would be nice to have an option. I only have a 60Gig SSD and 2TB HDD...

Yes, Windows 8 (what else in the Microsoft Beta forum right now? :p ).

If they're not going to allow this, then that's a complete deal breaker for me. No choice of install path = no sale.

You can do the custom installation on desktop apps but on Metro, not this time unless they do it in final version... (which I hope)..

I like custom installation as well.
