47,487 DVDs from a quick and probably wrong calculation

I got 44,006,737.

222,083,807,415,440,349 bytes = 206,831,663 gigabytes

There are 4.7 gigabytes per single-layer disk, so 206831663/4.7 = 44,006,737 discs.

Additionally, it would take 24,333,137 dual-layer DVDs

I used 4350MB per DVD

4.7GB didn't work out to be 4700MB when I was trying to squeeze files onto a DVD a while back, I remembered seeing available space around the 4350MB mark

Might be remembering it wrong, but I think we used more or less the same calculations to work it out :)

I did: 1024 x 1024 x 197 / 4350

Just did it with an online converter and got 43,950,951

I had a brain fart and missed out the whole TB part :p

I was apparently bored :p

Number of bytes per media:

Data = 222,083,807,415,440,349

Single layer DVD+R = 4,700,372,992

Single-layer DVD-R = 4,707,319,808

Dual-layer DVD-R = 8,543,666,176

Dual-layer DVD+R = 8,547,991,552

Single-layer Blu-ray = 25,025,314,816

Dual-layer Blu-ray = 50,050,629,632

XL3-layer Blu-ray = 100,103,356,416

XL4-layer Blu-ray = 128,001,769,472

Number of media needed:

Single-layer DVD+R = 47,248,125

Single-layer DVD-R = 47,178,398

Dual-layer DVD-R = 25,993,971

Dual-layer DVD+R = 25,980,818

Single-layer Blu-ray = 8,874,367

Dual-layer Blu-ray = 4,437,184

XL3-layer Blu-ray = 2,218,546

XL4-layer Blu-ray = 1,735,006

At a cost of $89.95 for 1x XL3 Blu-ray disc, this equates to a backup cost of $199,558,213, or $0.96/GB.

At a cost of $0.30 for 1x DVD-R disc, this equates to a backup cost of $14,153,519, or $0.07/GB

Nice shop....

1:Windows system

2: Driver letter "C:"

Even if it was NTFS, the limit of NTFS on a single Volume is 256TB

It's not a shop, I was there. Image was taken from BartPE while Bila and myself were doing a Customers Data Backup before Reload.

It's just a screwup on Bart's and Windoes identifying of information and I'm shure some directories linking to other directories ect ect ect. The actual size was a couple GB when the linking directories were cleaned and unlinked.

But it's not a shop, Bila and myself just found this funny, I thought he was going to put in jokes and funny, but he didn't.

*edit if you want I can upload the entire image instead if just the relevant info

We were wondering why it wouldn't back up to our external ("Bertha") and kept saying it was running out of space.
