Man with 100-pound scrotum REJECTS offers to perform corrective surgery

Recommended Posts

A Las Vegas man who suffers from a rare condition that made his scrotum swell to 100 pounds is basking in the fame that his giant organ has brought him.

In fact, the attention is so proving so intoxicating that Wesley Warren Jr turned down an offer to perform the $1 million corrective surgery for free because he would have had to give up the rights to his story. A second doctor has agreed to waive most of the cost for the procure, but Mr Warren still hasn't taken him up on the offer.

The watermelon-size scrotum Mr Warren carries between his legs has landed him on the Howard Stern Show and the Comedy Central program Tosh.0 and made him a local celebrity in his hometown.

When Mr Warren spoke with a reporter for the Las Vegas Review-Journal in October, he became emotional as he described the pain and humiliation of carrying the deformed genitals. He said he suffered from deep bouts of depression and health complications.

He must wear a hooded sweatshirt on his legs when he's out of public to contain his enormous scrotum. His penis is buried so deeply in the abnormal growth that he is forced to urinate on himself.

He only wanted, he said six months ago, to urinate like a normal man and have a romantic relationship with a woman.

$1 million corrective surgery for free.....

Surely with an offer like the one above, what is there to think about?

So have it fixed then, or shut the **** up! People and their bull**** never fail to amaze me!

Sad that we make conditions like this a way of living for some people. There are quite a few that want to become the fattest in the world, fattest in their own country and so on.

So he would rather not pee properly, not have a relationship and suffer "pain and humiliation" with "depression and health complications" because he believes his story is worth more than $1m?

Each to their own.

What a ****ing idiot for not taking these doctors offers. i actually had heard him the day he was on Howard Stern (I listen everyday on Sirius) and the dude seriously was so depressed it was not even funny, and all he kept talking about was the fact he could not afford the surgery, and how he was on The Stern Show to see if he could get any help.

Now that he has a little fame, all for being a circus side show freak, he literally wants to keep this monstrosity on him? What a truly sad, pathetic person. He should be in the emergency room today, literally.

I originally felt sorry for him. Now I feel a combination of pity and disgust.

Exactly, anyone that claims they want help and are suffering that then turns it all down just for fame and money deserve everything that the condition comes with. If you don't want it sorted and claim it's stopping you from having a relationship then don't moan about it.

I think that if he had never gotten the media attention that he did, then he would probably would have this taken care of already. But since he found that he got a lot more attention this way, in his mind, he is happier than before, so why bother?

The sad fact is after his 15 minutes of fame which will go away as soon as the news media stops talking about it so much, is he will go back to his deep depression probably even deeper and lose out on the 'gifts' that his fame has gotten him.

Reminds me of the South Park episode where all the guys had that problem and were bouncing around on them. I do feel sorry for this guy, he's rather have his 15 minutes of fame vs. having someone totally pay for fixing his issue. I authorize all you non-US folks to go ahead and say it, "only in America..." :D

What on earth can possess this guy to reject offers to have his condition corrected? Personally I'd prefer being able to urinate normally over media attention if I were him. :x

Does that not just make the text invisible till you hover over it? I was looking for the code that hides a post but shows a little reveal button and when clicked it shows the hidden post.

^ It blacks out the text until you hover.

I've never heard of hiding a post, except for Blocking a member.

It was a video though, it just put a grey line bellow the video. I've seen people do it before, pretty sure I seen someone on here use it recently and someone said that it was a neat trick. I also can't be using the correct terminology because google isn't helping either :p
