US mega-retailer Walmart and Amazon have posted product information pages for Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified, the Vita-only version of Activision?s popular shooter franchise.

The game is described as featuring an all-new campaign of ?Special Ops Missions?, as well as multiplayer tailored to the Vita. It?s listed for $US50, which is $US10 more than most Vita games.

The full description reads:

Before the future could be won, history had to be written. Exposing that story exclusively on PlayStation Vita, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified explores original fiction in the Call of Duty Black Ops universe with an all-new campaign of Special Ops missions. optimised for gamers on-the-go, Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified delivers the most intense handheld Call of Duty experience to date, including both Special Ops Story mode and Multiplayer combat tailored for the PS Vita.

I'm not much of a CoD or FPS person, but if this can help shift Vitas I am all for it.

Might of known it would be more expensive than every other Vita title

Not interested, but if it keeps the device afloat so that I can play more unique titles, then so be it. I hope it is good for the people who want the game mind you, and not some cheap crappy spin off.

Activision...price gouging?? No way!!

Also, I can't imagine what the controls are going to be like.

Pretty much exactly the same as they already are minus shoulder buttons. And the rear and front touch pads basically take care of that. Also no being able to click in the analog sticks, which again the touch screen could handle that.

So they are more or less exactly the same as they would be, as the Vita has nearly identical controls to any modern controller.

And pretty messed up to charge $10 more, but honestly if they are able to come close to recreating the console MP experience, I am ALL over it.

ok, U:GA was $50 and TOTALLY worth it. there is just no way that another COD is going to be worth $50 on Vita. i mean, i'd love to play this game, but im just not paying that much.
