"750 GB HD 5400 RPM (i doubt that it effects performance)"
So you don't think HDD speed has any effect on scanning such drive for viruses??? You do understand that you might have say 10k files to scan through while the next guy might have 100k of them.
What is the point of this thread?? Its like asking how many stairs or windows you have in your house, those thread use to be popular a few years back
BTW -- Purple font? Really? Very difficult to read.

Pink/Light Purple -- same thing.
Same here I have zero stairs as well. But my son has lots, should I have him count them - or maybe a picture would be better?

Wierd is it me or my laptop must suck so badly. Scanning it with MSE takes forever and even Antivir on my virtual machine can beat it.

The beta builds are hugely faster hey..
Generally takes about 40 minutes (4Tb worth of data with a Phenom II x6 Processor and 8Gb of Ram.)
Using latest Beta Builds of MSE
You're a classy guy buddy.
0 because I'd never use that worthless crap.
Frazell - I am down right shocked you use it -- are you contractually obligated to do so or something ? (say yes so I'll go back to thinking you're knowledgeable)
