Hey I just started using OSX, and I've always wanted that music widget (CaptainSlow desktop above for example) that I see a lot of guys have. What is it called? is that a third party widget?

Not that fancy. It wasn't GeekTool. Its an app called Live Wallpaper ($0.99). It's pretty limited but fun playing around with.

Installed Mountain Lion on my PC, works great! Since I like iOS, I made my desktop in the same style:

I thought mountain lion doesn't allow you to change dock icons. (the reason way candybar was shut down)

It isn't shut down, they were just uncertain about the future of being able to change system Icons and didn't want to charge for Candybar if it wasn't going to work in the future.

Currently it's working fine though and is available for free at the official website minus technical support :)
