How is my app logo?

I started a poll yesterday that helped determined the font for my app (thanks guys!), and today I need some feedback for my logo design.

Banner logo (for website):

Square logo (as app icon, Twitter profile picture, etc)

To give a little context, Kabob is a food and social web/mobile app. I'd appreciate your feedback whether it's design critique or just that you like it or not as a user.

Looks distinctive enough for finding on a phone screen or tablet whatever you designed it for. :)

Not sure if it is me or not but the K in bottom pic looks like it might be not centered. Otherwise looks good.

I like it personally. It kind of tricks the eye into reading it "Kaboob" though...

Nice, though it looks very similar to the Kayak (kayak.com and related apps) logo.
