I tried googling but it just brings up a load of dodgy looking websites I wouldn't trust my library card number let alone my credit card number.

Before anyone gets all high and mighty I don't want it for pirating games, the DSTWO is one of the few cards that support SNES and GBA roms.

Does anyone know of a site in the UK that wont steal all my monies?

AFAIK there are none since it was made illegal for sale a while ago.

Oh didn't realise they were made illegal, maybe that's why I can't find one.

Seems it's illegal to import them as well, if I bought one from outside the UK and imported one could I get in a lot of trouble?

If it is illegal, then I would say yes.

Ah well.

Was going to get a 3DS, wanted to play some SNES and GBA RPGs, looks like I'm out of luck.

You're better off emulating SNES on PC. DSTWO's SNES emulator is quite slow. Only the most common games like Mario All-Stars performs decently. DSTWO does not take advantage of the 3DS's processing capabilities (yet), so it's not really a great option at this point.

For GBA, just grab a DS Lite and an EZ-Flash GBA expansion slot card + any old r4 or something. :p Or emulate on PC. The DSTWO's GBA emulator is not that great either. DS Lite supports GBA natively, so it's full speed.

I can't take my PC with me though :p

Nevermind, if the emulators are slow no point wasting money on a card I would only be using it for, thanks.

Hopefully some of the games I want to play are in the eShop.

From what I've heard, the DSTWO's emulators are getting faster, though. They don't release their own anymore (or rarely update it anyway), but the community have improved the SNES emulator quite a bit.

I'm unsure of the GBA emulator's current state, as I haven't used this card for a while. For DS games, this is absolutely the best card you can get, as it's updated constantly and you do not have to bypass anti-piracy measures on DS roms. It's really a great card and worth every penny if you want to play DS games, and the more popular SNES games (Mode 7 games don't work as far as I know? Would have to check.)

Thanks for the great information, I don't care about DS Roms, I'd rather have the originals, boxes, etc..

I might grab a DS or something.

Yep, good call. The DS is a great buy right now, since it can play GBA games natively. GBA + DS + all the emulators? Unlimited gaming, honestly.

Heh, the second senetence of the OP is so contradictory.

I'm quite curious how using it for snes/gba roms instead of ds roms is somehow not piracy.

Technically it is piracy you are correct. But IMHO consoles that are no longer sold and are now unsupported and no new games coming out for them are a moral grey area for me, if they are available on eShop then I would buy them.

You can still buy new DS games off the shelf and my money goes to the developer which is why I'm not interested in DS roms.

before you buy, you can read this article first

http://r4-3.com/wher...rcard-dstwo-78/

supercard dstwo is the most expensive flash card as i know, but it is the first card that can work on 3ds v4.4.0-10. So, it's great.
