For germany you can also create a profile on xing.com. It's basically like LinkedIn, but mainly focused for germany.
I know many people with profiles there and they get many contacts (obviously depends on profile and job too).

I've wasted years searching for jobs on-line in Italy, so I won't recommend any of them because they are utterly useless imho.
