According to my source, who told me about the Wii U’s graphical capabilities and potential release date, Nintendo have been showcasing the 3DS XL to movie and publishing studios in Los Angeles, possibly aiming for releases on the device later next year.
They said that, “Older 3D movies possibly to see re releases come 2013 on 3DS XL for a premium price.”

If Nintendo do do this I can see it only being worthwhile in the US and even then it'll probably be very lacklustre

I don't see this doing any better than the PSP movies

They originally promised this with the original 3DS. I remember at E3 they mentioned Disney 3D films etc to be available. That hasn't even happened.

idk. is this really necessary? sure, come out w/ some movies... why not right? who's really going to buy them? who buys movies on their PS Vita either?
