World Worst Gamer

Recommended Posts

My buddy and I are working on a new video game based series called Worlds Worst Gamer (in case you missed the title). I wasn't exactly sure where to put it but I guess this is the most logical place to share it on this forum so I hope you enjoy.

1 House. 4 Roommates. 3 of them gamers. 1 of them clueless.

Todd's parents never let him play video games, but now he attempts Lost Planet: Extreme Conditions. He's given one hour to get as far as he can. Garrison accompanies him as advisor, insulter, and riff co-host. All Todd has to do to win is keep steadily progressing throughout the hour. When he can't go any further, it's game over!

You signed up in a tech forum in order to get views for your unenlightened video?

I'm just sad that I clicked the play button and gave you a view.(N)

It is a decent concept.

Problem is the video quality is a bit rubbish and the guys in the video aren't very funny.

What i think could be more fun is if you play a co-op with him. Something like Portal 2 where you have to work together. I think that could be funny as the inexperienced gamer would mess up and the gamer would get angry

Also this is our very first time ever doing something like this before. So if you have any suggestions for improvements or critique we'd be happy to know.

@Lingwo

Yeah we've thought about doing something like that. Maybe we'll give that a try in the next one and see if it works better. Also pick a game with less cut scenes in the opening.

I not sure if this series will get very far.

1. I didn't find it funny, it was much more cheesy then I expected

2. Video quality is bad

I don't like the concept. I mainly watch gamers because they are good at it. I rather not watch people humiliate themselves.

Yeah we are aware of the poor video quality. It looks all right when kept small but the second you expand it to full screen it's like looking through a fog. We're working on finding a new way/ product for capturing the footage. Anyone know of a relatively cheap method? I mean around the $50 range.
