FATILA Posted August 4, 2012 Share Posted August 4, 2012 Scenario: Windows server 2008 r2 with folder redirection and roaming profiles enabled, objective is for profile to follow user and any files saved on machine to sync with server when rejoined to network via offline file system. Issue: Windows without asking also caches the huge network drives. So the set space eventually gets filled with junk and there is no more room left for simple documents so they can't get saved. Is there any way to stop this? Only want stuff in folders I specify as offline cached, no the network drives. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

FATILA Posted August 5, 2012 Author Share Posted August 5, 2012 I want to keep roaming profiles on, folder redirection doesn't have all the same settings following the user.
