Has anyone noticed in Windows 8 RTM that the xbox games now show a new feature coming soon called Medals? It looks like these medals will be separate from achievements and do not have a Gamerscore associated with them.

Oh wow, I've had no Windows 8 usage but I really would love more info on this if someone has info. I love Xbox and I'm an achievement ######/XBL rewards related.

Seems a little bit too much like the PS3 trophies, but I shall reserve judgement until I hear more about it.

Might be a replacement for the Avatar awards thing that kind of died after Halo Reach?

that's actually pretty sweet. i dig the achievements feature on the xbox 360 and this should be pretty awesome if it's similar.
