Man posts flier advertising Meth for sale

SEATTLE?- Certainly it's good to advertise the products you have for sale, but if what you're selling is illegal narcotics, it's probably not such a good idea to publicly advertise that.

As it turns out, that's exactly what one enterprising guy did. It should come as no surprise then that when a police officer saw the posted flier for meth, he did his due diligence and called the number on the flier.

An undercover narcotics officer with the Seattle Police Department called the number, spoke to the man whose name was listed on the flier and set up a time to buy some meth.

When the officer walked up to the suspect in his car, he noticed the man had his dog with him and what looked like a gun in the man's lap, but it turned out to be a glass pipe shaped liked a gun that the suspect then used in front of the officer.

While the suspect was smoking what the officer believed to be meth, he blew the smoke in his dog's face to convince the officer that the dog was calm and the officer could get in his car with them.

Successfully avoiding getting in the suspect's car, the officer then walked to his vehicle under the guise of following the suspect to a location to purchase drugs. On his way to his car, he signaled to other officers to move in on the suspect.

After obtaining a warrant, the suspect's car was searched and turned up some marijuana, a bottle containing one pill, the gun-shaped pipe and the suspect's cell phone.

The suspect was not arrested on drug charges, but he is being held in King County Jail because it was discovered he had outstanding warrants for DUI and domestic violence.
