Help me ID this deep tech track from a 2003 liveset

Recommended Posts

I'll work on it.... I have a rough idea...

know anything else about the liveset?

offhand you can look at these so far (albums)

2003: All Night Long (End Recordings)-Layo & Bushwacka!

The Toiling of Idle Hands (2003) - Immigrant Records-John Tejada

2003: 24:7 (Boxed)-Lee Burridge

my guess off hand

Laurent Garnier (realy sounds like his stuff)

or Even Sander Van Doorn

Not really, the full name of the set is : forward-04-11-03-16b.mp3

It's from the same era as tracks like : Subsky - Feed the Deer, Benz & MD - Dilation etc....

I have this set uploaded to my Dropbox last year for Adam Nathan, he couldn't remember either... I can't seem to make the folder public, so if you'd fancy a download, PM me your email and I'll send you an invite.

Sure... I'll give it more of a listen.... PM sent.

Thanks, I've sent the invite - the full set is about 3 hours long, the track I uploaded originally is somewhere in the middle of the set :)

I'll also try the tracks you've suggested so far, thanks!! :D

I wasn't able to locate the listing for these albums to give it a listen :

All Night Long (End Recordings)-Layo & Bushwacka!

24:7 (Boxed)-Lee Burridge

But I looked through the tracks listed of Laurent Garnier and Sander Van Doorn on Beatport, and it's not them.

I've been frantically trying to find the artist and track ID for this for the last 2+ years... no dice :(

It's from a 2003 liveset by Adam Nathan & Gerald Robbins.

Give it a shot, lemme know if you can ID this :)

I tried, but couldn't ID it. Neither could soundhound on my phone. I even searched for the lyrics at 3:10.

But it did remind me of Martinez's work...

^ That's cool as well ;)

I checked his work upto 2004 (this EP) on beatport, again, not him though.

This track is so damn elusive :/

Your best bet then is to try to find and contact the guys who compiled it.

Be like: hey, yo do you remember the track you put together 9 years ago? yeah, I need the name of one of titles from there haha

lol yeah, I did that a year ago already - I was in touch with Adam Nathan [Jellyfunk Records]. I even uploaded the set for him on Dropbox on his request. Here's his Soundcloud page : http://soundcloud.com/adamnathan

No luck though, he didn't have the tracklist or much info on this particular set :(

How widely know is that liveset?

It got a lot of playtime in '03-'04, not much after that.

This sucks, but hey, look at the bright side! You can still enjoy it even if it's nameless. It's much better than hearing a track, liking it, and having no clue at all as to where or how to find it :D
