iOS Mail app not syncing deleted messages with Outlook.com account

I have added my Outlook.com account (well, it used to be a Hotmail account) in the iOS Mail app.

I can view and send e-mail within the app just fine but when I delete an e-mail within the app, it does not delete the e-mail in Outlook.com.

e.g. If I go to www.outlook.com on the laptop, the deleted e-mails from within the Mail app are still on the website.

Can deleted e-mail be synced?

I am using pop3.live.com (Incoming) and smtp.live.com (Outgoing).

You can set up iOS mail to use the outlook like a hotmail, using Exchange Active Sync, that'll make things better..

Infact it's how outlook.com tells you to set up the mail on iOS..

Also there's a setting in your Outlook.com mail to allow POP3 to delete messages.. you can enable that too.. but I would go with EAS, it's much better than POP3.
