mokthraka
I've been wanting to get a camera for awhile now, and when I was at frys today I noticed they had a rebel t3 kit for $400. I was wondering how it compares to some other entry level dslr's. for the most part im intrested in night time photography. I could also use the lenses my brother has for his camera, which would be nice
nominak
I suggest comparing camera's http://snapsort.com/compare The t3 should be a decent contender in the DSLR market. The biggest factor would really be the lenses.. if you've got good glass then you'll be fine with the t3 This shot was taken with a t3 Roger H. and Draconian Guppy 2 Share

Bump the ISO up at night and slower shutter speed.. and lower aperture on the lens :p I don't really shoot much at night, but I've not used the pop-up flash once at night

KingCracker
I have a T3 and as long as you do your part you can take some amazing photos, just get some lenses and a decent tripod.
Nothing Here
My wife has the Rebel T3 and she loves it. I wouldn't know what it was if she didn't tell me. They are all cameras in my opinion.

LOL you should have seen my last tripod.. it was tiny and aluminium, had my camera on it one day.. the weight just took the pan head and took it to the ground... snapping it off.. I have the Canon EOS Rebel t2i, got it for about 700 bucks without a lens... and I bought the 50mm 1.8 for around $100.. I really want to get the 50mm 1.4, just because it has the better focus ring.. and it's 1.4 aperture lol
