Wally-Gator confiscated

A 5 foot long, 70-pound alligator named Wally-Gator was discovered in a Milwaukee home and confiscated by the police.

Wally's owner, Lee Rau, says that he and his family did not know keeping an alligator as a pet was illegal in Milwaukee.

The family has attempted to get their pet back but police put a hold on the gator and have not said whether the reptile's owner will face any charges.

Currently Wally is resting comfortably inside the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control shelter.

People make really stupid decisions on pets sometimes.

What are you going to do with an alligator as is grows up? Sure it's a foot long now but what about when it's twelve feet long?
