Do you "think of" my Office 2013 logo design?

I general think the Office 2013 logo is too flat for the desktop. I would like to know what you think of my logo design?

Missing the point..

I like them though. They're a good merge or the existing icons and adding some depth.

Was not talking about the Metro but the desktop itself. I truly believe that the desktop does not need to go into Metro looking.

I can't stand beside your "flat" justification, but I DO like your icons, a lot!

I'm going to make an update to Microsoft new logo. Improve on it.

Office 2013 has metro DNA in it though. Metro style is not limited to metro apps. Your logos look good, nice work.

They'd fit well in an Android system. Good job.

I like them too but think they might look better without the diagonal dark shade across them

They do look very nice. Your mock-up is leading me to seriously think hard about whether the lack of gradients, shadows etc. in most "Metro" products is really a good approach or not.
