I need some desperate hel please.
My TV is a Panasonic TX-P42G10B and this morning while watching it, it turned its self off and the standby LED was flashing an error code which I looked up to be the power supply.
I took off the back of the TV and searched for blown capacitors and found 1 that was definately bulged up, but not leaking, which I replaced only cost 0.99p, this didn't fix it but there is a sort of clicking noise that is coming from the switching transformer when I switch it on and the led still flashes the same error code.
Is there something that causes the transformer to not work or is it just the transformer itself gone?
I want to try and fix this myself before I fork out for another power supply
