devBrian
What is this exactly? I couldn't really pinpoint where the noise was coming from, but I'm guessing it's the power supply? It happens after the computer is on for about a minute or so and gets louder and louder.Have a good rated PSU so I'm a little surprised. I've never heard this noise before on any computer. Ideas? devBrian
That's kind of what I was thinking. Any solutions? I think it's the PSU fan as it seems to be the general location of the problem.

Rudy
Replace the broken fan. I had a video card doing the same thing. I replaced the fan with a GIANT heatsink replacement (fanless, best thing I added to that computer) But yours might be the PSU

Hum
^ I supposed you could repair/replace the fan, but you may be shocked, or worse. I doubt it would be worthwhile to take it to any repair shop.

Or just screw a normal case fan sucking air out, to the back of the PSU grid
