I recently upgraded from the t3 to the t4i and its justifiable to me as the t4i has a ton of features missing in the t3. That being said I loved my t3 when I used it, its pretty bare bones but if you just want to take awesome photos then it would be ok for that, but there are some short comings. I don't call that a con I call that an improvement and a con that the body doesn't have image stabilization, none of the budget end Canon dslr's have that and is relied on the lenses. Dper: Oh it's underexposed Me: Yes it is on purpose Dper: learn to expose n00b Dper: Centered photo looks like passport photo Me: Yes I centered and broke the rule of thirds on purpose Dper: N00b.
