I decided to play New Vegas about a half hour ago after not playing anything for 2 days. I exit the game and I get the pop up saying Steam client needs to update. So I let it update and my friends list has been wiped. Anyone else have this issue?

I assume you've tried shutting down steam, and restarting the PC...all the usual suspects right? If that doesn't work I'd report it to them.

No reason to be sorry, unless you work for Steam. ;) But I thank you for the sentiment.

Nope, but I do work in the gaming arena, so it always sucks to hear when a fellow gamer has issues.
