Crazysah
Hello, I'm looking for a juice pack (not a case) or maybe a dongle thing that can charge up the Galaxy Nexus. I have the unlocked version directly bought from the Play Store. Any suggestions on what do buy? Also, shouldn't be too expensive. Thanks, Sahil
tsupersonic
1) Get the extended battery. You can get the Samsung one (2100mAh) or you can get a third party battery from a company like Mugen or Seidio (the only downside is these batteries don't have NFC, and are huge). 2) Just get a portable battery like this 3) Use Wi-Fi over data radios to conserve power! Does the extended Samsung battery comes with NFC and how much does it cost? 2. Is that the best portable battery/charger? Are there any others? 3. Already do that! But, upon further searching, other third party companies offer extended batteries with NFC support - like this. Just do your research first - the GSM and CDMA models are different - so buy your battery carefully. 2) No, it's not. It's just an example of one. Just do a search on Amazon for portable battery, and there are plenty of results.
Crazysah
Yeah, I did a search for a portable battery and there are way too many. I need some recommendations from here.

SharpGreen
I just got the extended (2100mAH) samsung one. For my usage patterns it seems to given me quite a boost. Like before, it would never last a full 24hrs before needing to be charged. Now it's common for last well over 24hrs. Granted I don't use LTE because it's insanely unreliable for some reason. Ha, that is some serious battery life. I'm constantly have the LTE radio on, might as well make the most of my unlimited data plan.I use this battery, http://www.amazon.co...s=anker+battery. It works well for me - it has 2 charging ports - one port charges at 1 amp, the other charges at 2 amps. It comes with a couple of adapters (mini-USB, Nokia adapter). It has a flashlight, and it lasts for 2 charges of my Galaxy Nexus (using the 1 amp port) + a charge for Nexus 7 (using the 2 amp port). This comes in handy since I use my phone a lot for texts + data.

Yep, it fits in pants/short's pocket. It's compact, twice as thick as a (CDMA/LTE) Galaxy Nexus. I can get pictures tomorrow, if you want.Actually, quick pics before I head out - here you go:

I am Reid
I just bought an extra standard 1850mah battery for $12. Its small enough you can easily just place it in your wallet without really even noticing.
Crazysah
Oh. That's also a good idea but how do you charge both then?
tsupersonic
Oh wow. And how long does it take to charge? Not sure on exact times, but using the 1A port should yield the same charging times, as the phone comes with a 1A USB power adapter. The 2A port is obviously faster, but I have never really timed it...
