Castle Cat

A MELBOURNE man has built an elaborate cardboard castle as a consolation present for his cat who had to have painful ear drops.

Film and commercial editor Billy Browne constructed the castle for his favourite feline to play in as his pet Rufus had helped him recover from anxiety.

?I suffered with anxiety and he helped me through it,? Browne told News Ltd. ?I?m fully recovered,? he added.

The touching video of how Browne made the Rufus Tower has been viewed by thousands on YouTube since it was uploaded on the weekend.

The castle is made from a series of boxes stuck together to form a tower-like structure, which has numerous openings for Rufus to play in and explore.

In the video, Mr Browne said he wanted to make Rufus feel better after he had to have painful ear drops, so he made a giant playhouse from his favourite toy- boxes.

The cat lover created the project for his four-year-old moggy because ?my shrink said I should do something creative on the weekends?.
