No. They were at a Wal-Mart in Tuskegee. But his tweet-fu was strong.

That was a legitimate question. I couldn't tell if all those other people were innocent bystanders that he ran his car into. It's all still tragic, but more so when innocent people are killed by drunk drivers. If those other people were in the car with him, they aren't really innocent. They let him drive drunk.

Excuse me for being concerned if any were innocent victims. You've obviously never lost friends to a drunk driver.

What does that have to do with assuming someone drove drunk without any evidence? If you read the article, you'd know that the police said it's too early to tell if that was the case or not. It could have been alcohol-related or it could have been a freak accident.

I don't know if you lost anyone to a drunk driver and if you did, then you have my sympathy. I can't imagine losing my friends to a senseless act like drunk driving.

Freak accident my butt, there was obviously some careless and reckless driving involved here to do this - regardless of who was drunk. The tweets were stupid and the driving was obviously reckless and without regard for their own lives or other people on the road.

I'm just glad these a-holes didn't kill anyone else.

It really doesn't matter who was driving. They are all idiots for obviously thinking it's okay to be this irresponsible and reckless. If McKinness thinks himself so cool for participating in this, there is no doubt that he would have no problem getting behind the wheel himself. Am I assuming this? Yes, but I would take that bet.

My thoughts exactly.. No one is innocent when they're all are so careless about their own lives that they risk the lives of everyone around them. Reports are excessive speed, running red lights and flipping the car over 5 times. I'm pretty sure that the passengers were not only drunk but they were probably not wearing their seatbelts either.

I *HATE* it when people die needlessly, but I **REALLY** hate it when young people have such disregard for their own lives and everyone around them that they do stupid stuff like this.

Umm, not really. Must be that special kind of irony that's in the song called ironic that doesn't contain a single element or irony.

People keep making the point that he wasn't the driver (which is important for comprehension) but it doesn't make the situation any less stupid. Four kids were killer by a drunk driver.

Oh? You're psychic and know that the driver was drunk? Something even the police don't know? Amazing.

Before anyone gets picky in here about my Darwinism post, I was referring to ALL OF THEM... The driver was the winner, the other three were the runner ups. Until anyone states otherwise, the whole group were being morons, anyone could've and should've been responsible by simply saying, slow the **** down, or IF alcohol was involved, being a designated driver, it kind of makes it worse that the ******** wasn't drunk, at least his judgement would've been impaired and we could've blamed it on his intoxication, instead of is pure lack of common sense and judgement.

So it's only coincidence that a passenger tweeted they were drunk and doing 120 MPH, and then they die in a fatal car crash? If they were still alive, that would be considered evidence in a trial.

Umm not it wouldn't since he tweeted "he" was drunk. The only think considered good enough evidence is actual blood test as chances are good he was a designated driver. But we won't know untill the blood test.
