Hi all,

I just moved into a new place and I'm looking to buy a TV. I've looked around a bit and think I'll go with either the LG 55LM7600 or the Samsung 55ES7100. The LG is considerably cheaper, but I really like the Samsung. But my question is, which is the better TV? Specifically, which has the better picture quality? Any opinions? Also, is there another TV I should be looking at instead?

Will the TV be used primarily for gaming, or Television.

For gaming I would go with a Plasma TV, if the latter, either of those are nice TV's, I would choose the Samsung personally.

Mostly TV and movies. Maybe a bit of gaming, but that's not its primary purpose by a long shot. I've looked at plasmas, but they seem much bulkier (I really like the sleekness of the Samsung 7 series) and power hungry. However, I would reconsider for the right plasma.
