No particular hate for Vista myself, kind of wonky at release (nothing new there, happens to everybody) but with the service packs it's actually pretty decent now. Just some of the features that were added in 7 that for me just easily nudge it over Vista. The revamped taskbar (progress meters, overlay controls, jumplists, etc), nicer file manager, get a good bit better performance out of it on my hardware (faster for me, and it doesn't choke on some of my older/junker units like Vista tends to do), I seem to have much better stability with 7 (behaves like a champ), still in mainstream support if that matters to you, things like that.
I have been using windows vista ultimate x64 sp2 and windows vista home premium x64 sp2 on my computers for a while now. Everytime I use windows 7 I find something about it frustrating. I know the world seems to hate vista and love 7, but I can't seem to find any reason to see 7 as anything special.
