seta-san Posted September 19, 2012 Share Posted September 19, 2012 Election time is coming in the U.S. and the flaming and trolling are starting to get out of hand Flame-Bait posts (and general trolling) That's it, I'm sick of it. All of it. Both sides and everyone in between. Stop the flame-bait comments in here. We have more RWI staff than we have had in a while and I have instructed them to look out for the little annoying comments that raise the blood pressure and lead to flames, warnings and general mayhem. Examples: RepubliFUD DemoCRAP Obamabots Faux News (for Fox News) Failin' Palin Tea Baggers Liebrals (there's probably 100 more from the left and from the right) I'm going to draw a line in the sand. You can whine about people being liberals or neocons but don't start inventing words just to annoy other people. I don't think it should be necessary to raise people's warning levels for these types of incidents but, during this new crackdown, expect warning level increases to go out from this point forward without any advanced warning. We need to have more decorum here so that this section is not an embarrassment to the rest of the site. This is a political subsection of a technical and/or general interest forum. RWI doesn't need to be here. Normally you guys do a good job of exchanging viewpoints but it does get sloppy every once in a while. Let's all pitch in to clean it up in here. Remember too that images can act as flame-bait much the same way as text can. Also, please be aware that we cannot read every thread every day. If you see something that doesn't belong then please report the thread and we'll get it cleaned up as soon as we can.
