Passbook Cannot Connect Error Frustrates iOS 6 Users

One of the newest features of Apple?s newly released iOS 6 is called Passbook which turns the iPhone into a mobile wallet for items like tickets, loyalty cards, coupons, and gift cards. Problem is, many iPhone users can?t get the feature to work.

To fix this issue, the following workaround has been posted on apples discussion forums. This worked on my iPhone 4S

Go to Settings>General>Date & Time and switch Set Automatically to OFF. Adjust 1 year ahead. Access Passbook again and tap on App Store. Should get you in. Go back to your date & time settings and set back to automatic. Don't worry about the errors, they will be corrected once the date and time is back to automatic.

Passbook is just the default page for me. Nothing like the what they showed on screen and whatnot - not a good idea of what it can do.

It would appear there are not many apps which use it at the moment, and with me being in Australia, I don't expect many.

Most of the new features are US centric just like most big companies

Virgin Australia are going to be using it for boarding passes across the country.

There are only about 6 apps so far that take advantage of it.

Something else that is really annoying is the new App Store. go to the app store, go to updates, if you don't touch the update button exactly a popup appear with more information but there appears to be no way to close the popup.
