+Audioboxer Subscriber² Posted September 20, 2012 Subscriber² Share Posted September 20, 2012 It was around this time last month that Shuhei Yoshida reminded people that The Last Guardian is still under development for the PS3, rather than a next-gen console. We'd hoped perhaps that the game might rear its head at TGS, but alas. Nonetheless, a Sony developer has confirmed that the game is still alive and kicking, even if it is proving a little more ambitious than first thought."I give you my word that it exists," said the anonymous developer, talking to Kotaku. "We are working on it." The source also confirmed that the game is still under development in Japan (there had been rumours of it moving across the Pacific to the US), but noted that it's a "very ambitious project", and suggested that The Last Guardian was arguably announced way too early. "There are lots of pieces to the puzzle," he said. "It's a matter of getting them to fit together." TheLegendOfMart
I'm past caring now, they haven't shown anything new for years and its stuck in limbo, it was too ambitious for the PS3 and now they are having to scale it back to make it fit. I was really excited for this back in the day, I don't care either way if it comes out, I will buy it if it does, if not, ho hum.
