That's right, folks! You can [url="https://www.dreamspark.com/Product/Product.aspx?productid=42"]start downloading[/url] Windows Server 2012 for free with your basic (verified) DreamSpark account. The good thing about it is that you can pretty much use it as a full version of Windows 8 (with some extra server additions) for free :woot: . Although there are some differences, you can also check out a guide on how to use WinServer 2008 as a Win7 replacement [url="http://www.zdnet.com/blog/igeneration/convert-student-free-windows-server-2008-r2-into-windows-7/5593"]here[/url].

I can't wait to install VS 2012 on it and start making Metro apps! :D

I've been waiting a looong time for this, my [s]little green[/s] friend :woot:

My studies are ending this October and, I suppose, Dreamspark Premium will go with it. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to snatch Server 2012. Right onto it now, though.
