Phouchg
You don't. The Secure Download Manager should take care of it and produce an ISO file once it fully downloads the thing.
Retify
Mine doesn't unpack. Trying to download Server 2008 R2, third time it has come down now and third time I have had the same error. There was a program a while back, unpack SDC, but development stopped years ago. I downloaded Win 7, Vista and Visual Studio no problem, but Server just does not want to work
grayscale
Did you pause or lost connection during the download process and resumed it by running SDM and resuming it there?
n_K
You need a spare 6GB or so for it to extract. You can't extract SDC's yourself as they now use a very lengthy blowfish-key based encryption. If it fails again, I'd suggest downloading on a different PC or finding an ISO torrent/direct download link (it's legal)
Retify
Did you pause or lost connection during the download process and resumed it by running SDM and resuming it there? Nope, let it run straight through each time, no net loss You need a spare 6GB or so for it to extract. You can't extract SDC's yourself as they now use a very lengthy blowfish-key based encryption. If it fails again, I'd suggest downloading on a different PC or finding an ISO torrent/direct download link (it's legal) I have tried it on two drives in my system, one with a spare 92GB, the other with 1.54TB. I know I can take the torrent link route, but I want that as the absolute last resort when every other avenue has been explored. Whilst it may be legal, I wouldn't fully trust the download unless from MS themselves
