I just bought a new 13" MacBook Pro, and it is supposed to arrive tomorrow.
Other than MS Office, Google Chrome, Firefox, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver, what software should I get for it? It's the non-retina version
I'm OK with spending money on the software (meaning it doesn't have to be freeware).

Why is there a need for apps like Caffeine when you can just temporarily change the "sleep" paramater in system prefs to never?

Because I can just mouse up to my menu bar and click a coffee cup. I'll also probably forget to enable it again and waist my battery, or disable when copying and waste my time.
