Mercedes-Benz Granturismo yacht due next year
Co-developed with Silver Arrows Marine
Daimler confirmed yesterday that Mercedes-Benz will launch next year a 46-foot Granturismo yacht at a yet undisclosed price tag. The German company has teamed up with UK-based Silver Arrows Marine for the development of this yacht which was first showcased at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show.
MB’s designers were in charge of the yacht’s “layout and use of space” as well as “shaping the exterior and interior and choosing materials and color combinations”. As for Silver Arrows Marine, they took care of the construction and technical equipment. The yacht promises to offer not only “overnight accommodation” but also serve as an ideal way “for a day on the water with friends.”
This will not be the first watercraft to feature the Mercedes-Benz badge as a couple of years ago they collaborated with Cigarette Racing for a speed boat inspired by the SLS AMG.
