Hi,

Yesterday AMD released legacy drivers with Windows 8 Support. They are the 12.6 catalyst drivers. They are not Microsoft® logo certified and only support WDDM 1.1 driver level features. However, for most of us with these cards I think it's a relief because we were afraid that AMD would not release any drivers with Windows 8 support for legacy cards.

Those cards are still supported in Windows 7 iirc.

It's not a matter of support in Windows 7, the official support from AMD stopped in May, and went to legacy support, which means drivers every quarter (3 months), if they decide to keep that schedule.
