Two questions:

1. Is it correct Ubuntu 12.10 beta 2 is being released today?

2. Will I be able to install Gnome 3.6 onto it including Nautilus 3.6?

The second beta release of Ubuntu 12.10 has been made available for download. It arrives ahead of Ubuntu 12.10?s final release in just over 2 weeks time.

Because cinnamon provides a gnome-2 like experience using gnome 3 technology. Cinnamon has a fully customizable panel/applets like gnome 2.
