Combat for the Atari 2600.....Once I discovered it was 2 players only, I cried and bitched so much, my parents took me to town and bought me Ms. Pac Man (I was a bratt). Not proud of that, but what the hell, it worked! :D

Good memories with that POS system. Ms.Pac Man, Pitfall, Asteroids, defender, Chopper Command, Robot Tank, Solaris, Star Raiders, Lazer Blast, Donkey Kong, Frogger, Megamania, Jungle Hunt, Enduro, Space Cavern, Keystone Kappers, Battlezone, Berzerk, Reactor, Q-Bert. David Crane and Activision ruled the roost back in those days. Also loved Saterday Mornings for the videogame oriented cartoons. God dang it was fun being a kid back in the 80's! I feel sorry for today's youth, having to deal with all of the political correctness and the constant pressure put on them these days

Anyone here remember a cartoon named "Mighty Orbots"?

Heh. Who remembers sitting for hours typing in a game program from a PC Mag into the old C64? PLay for a while, turn it off, and have to re-type again if you want to play again (no way to save back then)

What a great, great game Zaxxon was. Sincerely and truly loved it. It was HARD as all hell too. Great one here. (Y)

Pitfall, Stampede, Smurfs, Danger (I think), Combat, Kaboom, Yars Revenge, Circus (I think), Empire Strikes Back, Tennis, and of course, Adventure, Berzerk. Those are the additional ones I remember...

EDIT - Had to do it after I remembered those. Some classics on that list. And it seems I made some up as well.
EDIT 2 - I swear that Wikipedia page is missing some. I know FOR SURE Tennis was an Atari 2600 game, it was one of my favorites. And Nevermind, did not realize there was a second list. :/

Apogee's Hocus Pocus on our neighbours' PC running Windows 3.11 ^^ Or perhaps before that some game where you had balls bouncing around, and where you would click it would start generating a wall. You had to put all balls in their own rooms (as small as possible), if they would hit the wall while it was building itself you'd lose. Does anyone remember the name of that game? It was brilliant! Played it on Windows 3.x on a laptop with a trackball behind the display, really weird but pretty epic :D

What?! The Commodore 64 had both a tape drive (you could use any old cassette player - although it'd take a good 5 minutes to save/load a program) and a floppy drive! I remember typing in programs (from Ahoy! magazine, for example! :D ), but you could always save 'em. :)
