AUBURN, Wash.? A drive-thru was hit by a drive-by shooting when a customer fired through the window of an Auburn Jack in the Box Friday morning, Auburn police said.

The suspect drove up to the drive-thru window at the 315 15th Street NE restaurant at 2:54 a.m. He seemed "upset" with his order, the employee later told his manager, and asked for ranch dressing.

As the employee turned to get the dressing, the suspect fired one round through the glass. The bullet flew past the employee and struck the far wall. The suspect then drove away.

According to Auburn police, the man was described as a heavy set black male in his mid-to-late 20s. The man had a gap between his front teeth, authorities said.

The employee was "very shaken up" by the incident, according to the manager, and could barely speak.
