NoUserName
Hello, I've just bought my new mini laptop today which is aspire one 722. I've upgraded the HDD to 1 TB and RAM to 4 GB, but the guy in the market told me that I will need to install windows operating system in my own because I've replaced the HDD. I do have the key label in the back of the laptop for windows home premium as fine. So now I would like to know where exactly I can downloaded latest up-to-date copy of windows home premium 64x sp1 ? Also can I do the same thing as the original HDD ? I mean to add a recovery option ...etc Thanks a lot
Blaze_Zewi
From Microsoft... where else? The file you need is called... windows6.1-KB976932-X64.exe http://www.microsoft...ls.aspx?id=5842 As for your second question. Without the manufactured restore/recovery disc the awnser is no. Windows do have a built in Windows Restore Point, it will roll back to its last save restore point. Dont know how well it work since I dont use it. Since I back up my data to a portable hard drive. If thing went south on my system I'll just format and reinstall the operating system.

Astra.Xtreme
You can torrent a Win 7 .iso if you want. As long as it's not a cracked copy, it's all fine and dandy. When you get the .iso downloaded, the quickest option is probably to download the "Windows 7 USB DVD Download Tool" and make a bootable flash drive with it.
