Budget: Around ~$600 (Canadian Dollar)

Purpose: in order of importance
  • Stock Trading
  • Web Surfing
  • School Use (Post-Secondary)
  • Media (music > video)

Use: Half of the time will be used outside home.

No, I mean any of the ones that are actually convertible with a detachable full keyboard. the surface is one option, but not the only one, and while it has an awesome keyboard attachment, it's not fully convertible to a laptop.

I've come down to these two choices but can't decide which one is better:
  • Sony VAIO F Series VPC-F232FX
  • ThinkPad T430 Laptop
