A guy on craigslist is selling a pair of Polk Audio Monitor 50s for 135 bucks - For both of them. I was thinking of getting the 60s but at the price I'm strongly considering buying this guys 50s. I'd be pairing it up with my Yamaha RX-V373 which right now is using the speakers from my LG HTiB - Needless to say I'm not getting the full benefit of a standalone receiver.

They are certainly good speakers. I am not sure of the price though, I got a pair for $180 brand new from newegg, so you should at least try and get him down to $100. I currently am using mine as my surrounds (which is overkill) but I got a great deal on some 70s so they took over as the fronts.
