I don't understand the hype about screen resolution (all thanks to Apple). Just don't give it a crap resolution like 1024x600, or such an insane resolution like 2560x1600 that the GPU/CPU can't keep up (aka iPad 3).

the screen has a 2560x1600 (16:10) not 2560x1920. Check html5test.com's blog or android police, web logs have confirmed the resolution.
