Wireless VGA to HDMI or VGA to VGA for Conference Room

So I will try here before "Media Room"

Have a 42 inch LED TV hanging in a smaller conference room (6-8 people) and I would like to find an adapter that is fairly small to plug into the HDMI of the TV which will have another piece that a person can plug into their VGA port on a laptop to display a presentation. Yes I know HDMI is digital and VGA is analog, so if this isn't going to work or isn't cost effective I will take VGA to VGA.

Any recommendations, the TV has no shelf and is wall mounted so something small that hooks in on that side if possible. And it would be nice if the unit on the laptop side was USB powered so an AC adapter does not have to be run.

It will mostly display Power Point, Internet and standard def videos.

it will be easier to do a direct vga to vga, you will need a adapter/converter to convert an analog signal to digital
