Was a jab at apple hyping new features all the time that other devices already have.


It's a new feature for them, so of course they are going to be enthusiastic about it. It's no different than any other products' marketing with new features.
The misconception that Apple claims they are first to the punch on every feature is getting pretty stale...

Ars and a couple of other outlets suggest it is some sort of pinning - basically frequently used stuff is moved from disk to nand memory, whereas the unused stuff gets moved to disk. Caching keeps a copy of the data on both disk and nand memory whereas this one actually moves the files around.

I bet you could find very few examples of them claiming they were the first to do something. :rolleyes:
